Transactive Energy Supported Economic Operation for Multi-Energy Complementary Microgrids

Multi-energy complementary microgrids (MECMs) provide an important means to accommodate renewable energy sources due their abundant adjustable resources and flexible operation modes. However, limited capacity controllability are the main obstacles that prevent MECMs from participating in market. In this study, we develop a transactive (TE) mechanism-supported sharing strategy coordinate interconnected regional integrated system (RIES), where uncertainty of loads is taken into account via stochastic programming. An RIES operator introduced trade with utility grid as intermediate player between electricity market MECMs. For TE mechanism, employ alternating direction method multipliers (ADMM) algorithm achieve distributed optimization sharing, which based on average shared residual over all A clear economic interpretation exists method, wherein electrical thermal prices can be obtained.
